Polymer clay bear claws set with natural turquoise, coral and sterling silver bead with a sterling silver clasp. This piece was inspired by my travels in the Southwest US and studies of Native American jewelry designs. The claws are cast using my own process in two parts; a mold made from an heirloom bear claw and then a coat of translucent clay. they are combined with old hand made sterling silver beads and beautiful turquoise and coral beads specially chosen for this piece. |
